Mahjong has many variants of scoring, but the general principle is simple: the more difficult the combination, the more points.

Basic rules for scoring:
- A simple win is 10 points.
- Pong of dragons or winds - 10-20 points.
- Pure combination (all tiles of the same suit) - 40-80 points.
- Secret combinations (for example, all pongs) - 50+ points.
- Mahjong made without taking other people's tiles (collected only by your own) - multiplier x2.

When someone wins, the rest of the players either pay them points or the betting system is in play. Different versions of Mahjong may have their own points system, but the general logic is as follows: the one who has collected the most valuable hand or is the first to declare ‘Mahjong’ wins!
